The community web site is a place where you can find out what is happening in your neighborhood and how you can get involved to make it an even better place to call home.

Some things to know about your neighborhood:

• Our community has a recommended speed limit is 15 mph. Please drive slowly and watch for children playing in or near our streets.

• Our community participates in the Neighborhood Watch program sponsored by the Durham Police Department. Please be alert and do your part to keep our neighborhood safe.

• As a reminder to all homeowners, we do have a sign posted that solicitation is not accepted in our community. If someone should come to your door soliciting, please remind them that there is no solicitation allowed in Barbee Meadows and send them away immediately.

• Our community has architectural guidelines to assure all homeowners that the standards of design quality will be maintained, enhancing the community’s overall environment and protecting property values.
